Since 1996, the Empowerment Zone Coalition, Inc. (EZC) services youth, families, grassroots organizations and communities in empowering them to work for positive changes by building on the strengths inherent in the community. Each year, individuals, businesses and organizations donate goods, money, services and countless time to the Empowerment Zone Coalition, Inc. We could not provide these much needed services without the generous contributions that help adults, youth and their families. Your donations will assist us in reaching more people and positively affect more lives to improve the quality of life for adults, youth and families. Your support helps us maintain:
- Community drug education conferences, workshops and training to provide citizens with adequate information to make informed decisions.
- Youth drug free activities and summer employment training in which high schools mentor middle school students.
- Recruitment and training volunteers to service in substance abuse prevention programs and activities
- Social marketing on current drug issues that negatively impact the lives of people in the community especially our youth.
For every dollar raised, $.76 goes directly into programs and services.
The Empowerment Zone Coalition, Inc. is 501(c)(3) tax exempt, charitable organization as classified by the Internal Revenue Service. EZC is primarily supported by public funds. The coalition welcomes the support of Corporations, foundations and other private funding sources.
